The 2 Beaches you must see are Playa la ChivaBlue Beach and Navio Beach. Playa la Chiva is a long expanse of beach with beautiful stretches of white sand and turquoise water. Navio is more of a romantic cove with playful waves and a scenic small cave to the east.
The most amazing experience in Vieques is the Bioluminescent Bay, named the brightest bio-bay in the world by Guinness Book of World Records, it must be seen to be believed, an experience that you will remember forever.
One of the 2 restaurants you should try is Coqui Fire Cafe. Coqui Fire Cafe was ranked number one in Vieques by trip advisor and number seven in all of Puerto Rico. Coqui Fire serves mexican food prepared by "Hot Sauce" Jimmy who is also responsible for the islands famous Coqui Fire Hot Sauce.
You've got 2 days so make sure to treat yourself to a cocktail and wonderful meal at Sorcé, The W Retreat & Spa's restaurant set amongst the beautiful landscaped grounds of the retreat. If you are in Esperanza El Quenepo is also a delight, the romantic setting with its white table cloths and vast open dining room will surely be a first class dining experience.
For Lunch stop by Sol Food, the best food truck on the island, hand's down. Its at the entrance to the Wildife Preserve beaches. There is usually a line but it's worth the wait. Also, grab one of their wonderful brownies and a water, if you are heading to the beach you may want to have food and drink with you, there are no concession stands on any of the beaches other than Sun Bay Beach.
Happen to be in Vieques on Saturday night? Stop by Al's Mar Azul for Karaoke beginning at 9:00PM. The North Shore hang out where many locals settle in for a sunset cocktail. Bananas is the South Shore meeting spot in Esperanza. A perfect starting point where you can do a full nightime bar crawl as there's a good selection of bars on the Malecon, a favored walking thoroughfare that stretches along the waterfront.
